By creating an account or sending a request to the LookupSwiss API (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
LookupSwiss provides a REST API for validating phone numbers and email addresses. Each successful authenticated request consumes 1 credit. Credits are allocated monthly according to your plan and reset on each billing renewal.
All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF), exclusive of VAT. Stripe may convert to your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel any time from the in-app Billing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. No refunds for partial months. If a payment fails, we will retry per Stripe Smart Retry; after 21 days of failed retries your subscription is downgraded to Free.
“Unlimited” means no hard cap on monthly credits, subject to (a) a per-second rate limit of 50 requests, (b) a per-minute burst of 2,000 requests, and (c) honest end-customer use. Repeated sustained traffic above 1 million requests per day or any traffic pattern indicative of resale, scraping for harvesting purposes, or denial of service may trigger throttling or a fair-use conversation.

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret. You can rotate your key at any time from the dashboard. Any request signed with your key is deemed authorized by you and billed to your account.
The Service, including all software, design, and documentation, is the property of LookupSwiss AG. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the API for the duration of your subscription. Validation results you receive are yours to use without further restriction.
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when feasible. Upon termination, your access ends; we delete your data per the schedule in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive jurisdiction: the courts of Zürich, Switzerland.
